The conflict between the United States and Iran will not end if Tehran does not give up nuclear weapons. This was announced on April 15 by the American President Donald Trump.

"First of all, if they don't, there won't be a deal, okay? So there will be no deal. The whole story really boils down to the absence of nuclear weapons. They can't have nuclear weapons," he said in an interview with Fox Business.

According to the head of the White House, negotiations with the Iranian side are going well. He also admitted that Washington and Tehran could soon come to an "end result."

On the same day, Trump said he did not consider it necessary to extend the truce with Iran, since the conflict would "end one way or another." American Vice President J. D. Vance had previously announced that Trump intended to conclude an agreement with Iran.

At the same time, he noted that the head of the White House is not aimed at concluding a "small deal." According to Vance, if Iran expresses its readiness to normalize relations, then the United States is ready to treat it economically "like a normal country."
