A large number of oil tankers stuck in the Strait of Hormuz due to the blockade are already visible on the horizon. Izvestia publishes exclusive footage of the situation in the sea corridor on April 15.

The video shows a lot of ships that are in the raid. It can be dangerous to walk between them because of the risk of attacks from the United States or Iran.

On the same day, the captain of the oil tanker, Raman Kapoor, told Izvestia that his ship had been anchored in the Persian Gulf since the beginning of the war in Iran due to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, it is not safe to pass directly through the Strait of Hormuz, so the office of the company that owns the ship forbade leaving the gulf until normalization in the region.

On April 13, the United States began a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz due to the failure of negotiations between Washington and Tehran. It is carried out against ships of all countries entering or leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports in the Arabian and Oman Gulfs.

The head of the White House, Donald Trump, announced on April 12 that the US Navy was beginning to block all ships that would attempt to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, the negotiations in Islamabad went well, but the key nuclear issue remained unresolved. Trump said Iran had prevented free passage for ships by using threats about mines.
