On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Stoloto will hold a series of charity lottery draws called Russian Lotto. Part of the funds will be sent to the Memory of Generations Foundation to support veterans, the Stoloto press service said.

"Charity runs are a continuation of the tradition established from the early days of lotteries, when they served as a tool for solving social and government problems, as well as to raise funds for good causes and public needs. The participants of the charity runs have the opportunity to do a good deed, express gratitude to the veterans and help provide them with high—quality living conditions," commented the Deputy General Director of the multidisciplinary holding company S8 Capital (which includes Stoloto) Ekaterina Tuton.

The total amount to be transferred to the Memory of Generations Foundation will be announced during the broadcast of the 1744th edition of the Russian Lotto on May 10 on the federal TV channel. The fund will use the funds raised to pay for the services of nurses, purchase technical rehabilitation equipment and upgrade medical equipment.

"Today our task is to help those who once gave us peace. Holding charity circulations to help veterans is an opportunity to say "thank you" to them. Many veterans need support, especially when it comes to health. We provide targeted assistance to veterans, as well as purchase modern equipment for medical institutions where they receive treatment, which is a direct contribution to the quality and duration of their lives," said Larisa Gurova, Head of the Department for Work with partners at the Memory of Generations Charitable Foundation.

Recently, a charity edition of the Russian Lotto was held, dedicated to the Easter holiday. For each ticket sold, 10 rubles were sent to the Mercy assistance service. In total, according to the results of the circulation, over 44.6 million rubles were transferred to charity.
