Mutko called on the regions to be more actively involved in the restoration of windows

Russian regions need to be more actively involved in the restoration of cultural heritage sites, said the General Director of DOM.Russian Federation Vitaly Mutko. He took part in a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on improving the effectiveness of window conservation measures.

"The President has set an important task — to restore 1,000 cultural heritage sites. It is impossible to fulfill it without the active participation of the regions. We see that some regions are already taking a very responsible approach to this work. But it is necessary that as many subjects as possible adopt these practices," Mutko stressed.

He also noted that 2,380 windows are currently in poor condition. "We have asked the regions to prepare a timetable for the transfer of such facilities to investors, as well as a timetable for their restoration, as the most difficult task is to restore these facilities," Mutko added.

First Deputy General Director of DOM.Alexey Nidens of the Russian Federation presented the interim results of the implementation of the plan for the involvement of WINDOWS in the economy of the regions. "Since the launch of the program, investors have already been found for 585 windows, restoration work is already underway at 304 sites," said Nydens.

The meeting also discussed the proposed amendments to the legislation on window protection. Thus, the issue of updating security obligations before the auction is already being considered. This will allow investors to get up-to-date information about the objects they purchase. The meeting participants supported the HOUSE's proposal.The Russian Federation on the need for the regions to carry out this work before making changes to the legislation.
