One person died in a fire at the Kazan powder Factory
One person died as a result of a fire and partial collapse of structures at the Kazan Powder Factory, the Ministry of Health of Tatarstan announced on April 15.
"A man was pulled out of the rubble at night, unfortunately, he suffered life-threatening injuries," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
It was noted that a criminal case had been opened into the incident under Article 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities").
On April 14, a fire and collapse occurred at the gunpowder factory in Kazan. It was clarified that two people were injured in the incident. They were hospitalized in the republican and Kazan city clinical hospitals.
