In the regions of Russia, searches were conducted at the organizers of the largest paper VAT platform, which was used to evade taxes through fictitious companies. Footage of the operational work on April 15 was shown by the FSB.

According to the FSB's Public Relations Center, the detainees had previously been convicted of economic crimes.
