Russians were warned about fines for publishing neighbors' data in a house chat
Publishing the neighbors' data in house chats can result in a fine of up to 300,000 rubles. This was announced on April 15 by the Director of the Institute of Information and Media Security of the O. E. Kutafin University (MGUA) Vladimir Nikishin.
"Posting personal data of residents of a house in a house chat without the consent of the subject is an unlawful processing of personal data, which is an administrative offense," Nikishin explained in an interview with RIA Novosti.
