An EU MP visited Moscow to demonstrate the possibility of friendship with the Russian Federation

Fernand Kartheiser, a member of the European Parliament from Luxembourg, said he had visited the Russian capital to demonstrate the possibility of friendship between Russia and Western Europe.

"It is important for me to show by my presence that there is an alternative to the official policy [of the European Union]. I want to witness the possibility of friendship between Russia and Western Europe," Kartheiser said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
