The State Duma spoke about the impact of the holidays in May on salaries

Holidays and non-working days in May 2026 will not affect the salaries of Russians. Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, United Russia party, recalled this on April 15.

"In accordance with Article 112 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, employees who receive salaries should not lose wages in months where there are non—working holidays, as well as "additional days off" established by the government of the Russian Federation," she told TASS.
