US President Donald Trump considers Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who lost the election, to be his friend. The politician said this in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera on April 14.

"He was my friend, it wasn't my election, but he was my friend, a good man, he did a good job on the immigration issue. He did not allow people to come and destroy his country, as happened with Italy," Trump said.
