All participants in the trilateral discussions on the settlement of the conflict between Israel and Lebanon agreed to start direct negotiations. This was announced by the US State Department on April 14.
"All parties have agreed to begin direct negotiations by agreeing on a time and place," U.S. Department of Defense spokesman Tommy Pigott said in a statement.
