Innopraktika talked about the support of industry technology leaders
The support of fast-growing high-tech companies from both the government and investors is necessary to strengthen the technological sovereignty of the country. Natalia Popova, First Deputy General Director of Innopraktika, told about this during a press conference dedicated to the VIII financial forum of the PSB "Just Capital". According to Popova, today there are a number of support programs for industry technology leaders designed to stimulate the growth and expansion of domestic high-tech businesses and have already proven their effectiveness.
According to the expert, one of the most effective programs today is the "nurture" program, which helps develop projects related to the development and production of innovative domestic products that meet the needs of Russian companies. "The growth mechanism created by the Innovative Engineering Center, which is part of the Innopraktika ecosystem, is now in high demand, because this program is effective not only for companies, but also for the government in terms of return on investment," Popova commented.
Another mechanism that has proven its effectiveness is related to supporting companies' IPOs, including a small check, Popova added. At the same time, in order for the mechanism to work as efficiently as possible, large-scale work with potential and existing investors is necessary.
"We work with companies, we train them to use the available mechanisms, but working with investors is also very important. We need them to understand that despite the relatively high rate, it is now important to invest, including in high-tech business. This is the right thing for an investor, because it helps him diversify his portfolio, and it is the right thing for a country whose population shows in this way that they believe in the companies that appear in Russia today," Popova explained.
