The Deputy Mayor of Moscow spoke about the event program at the Good Place centers

In March 2022, the first district volunteer center "Good Place" was opened in Moscow. Since then, the network has expanded to 10 multifunctional spaces, which regularly host workshops, lectures, trainings and other events for citizens, said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital.

"Over the past four years, more than 85,000 Muscovites of different generations have visited the district centers. They got acquainted with the volunteer movement of the capital and its directions, participated in socially significant initiatives, spent time with family and like—minded people," Sergunina said.

Dozens of events will be organized in volunteer centers for citizens in April. For example, on April 18, a "Good Day Off" dedicated to Victory Day will be held in the space in the east of the city. Creative classes on creating St. George ribbon brooches and postcards for May 9th are waiting for the guests.

On April 22, in the ecological laboratory of the center "Good place. Kurkino will hold a master class on recycling plastic lids. Experts will show how the material is crushed, melted and created from it new useful products. Participants will be offered to take them as a keepsake. On April 25, free modern dance lessons will be held in the north of the capital. Members of the local choreographic collective will act as mentors.

The district centers also provide free training in Mosvolonter programs, such as "The First Step", "Volunteering Workshop", "Create!" and others. Over 580 courses have been conducted in the spaces over the entire time.

Mosvolonter's partners — entrepreneurs, representatives of non—profit organizations, educational institutions and other institutions of the city - can book one of the surrounding spaces to host their own event. The full list of available services is available on the website of the resource center.
