- Bortnikov was informed about Kiev's use of AI to organize terrorist attacks in Russia
Ukrainian special services use artificial intelligence (AI) to involve young people in terrorism and illegal activities. This was announced on April 14 by the director of the FSB of Russia, Alexander Bortnikov, at a meeting of the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC).
"Ukrainian neo-Nazis widely use modern software tools and artificial intelligence to identify Internet users who share radical views and are ready to commit illegal acts for a monetary reward," he is quoted on the NAC website.
According to Bortnikov, the enemy does not abandon attempts to involve Russian youth in illegal activities. He uses online gaming platforms and themed websites offering quick earnings to recruit young people to commit acts of sabotage and terrorism.
Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, said on April 2 that the special services of Ukraine had long ago switched to cynical and immoral methods, using Russians to commit terrorist attacks, and more often they involve the most vulnerable elderly people, as well as minors, in their schemes. The head of the department noted that malefactors mislead people under deceptive pretexts, and then force them to break the law.
