Russia is ready and invites foreign observers to cooperate during the elections to the State Duma in the autumn. Ella Pamfilova, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, announced this on April 14 at an international scientific and practical conference on monitoring and expertise of electoral processes at the Rossiya National Center.

"We are really open to a very broad interaction and cooperation with you. And I hope that we will see many of you in the upcoming elections, the federal elections, and the important elections in September of this year, the elections of deputies to the Russian State Duma. I am pleased to invite you. We will do everything possible to ensure that you can get acquainted with exactly what you are interested in," she said.

Pamfilova also added that the reverent attitude towards the national specifics of election campaigns, which Russia shares, is, in her opinion, the main feature of the new paradigm of international cooperation. According to the head of the Central Election Commission, sovereign countries that respect their national dignity have begun to "shed the rags of pseudo-democracy" imposed by the West.

On April 1, Pamfilova, during a meeting of the new CEC staff with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that the Russian electoral system had proven its reliability and stability in the context of a special military operation. Pamfilova also added that the main efforts of the CEC are directed inland to increase confidence in the domestic elections.
