The enterprises of the Russian capital make a great contribution to achieving the strategic goals of ensuring the technological sovereignty of the country. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, pointing out that the developments of the capital's companies "cover a wide range of industries: from medicine and pharmaceuticals to microelectronics and mechanical engineering."

In his personal blog, the mayor called the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, where more than 240 companies operate, a key platform for creating new technological solutions. Among them is Micron JSC, a manufacturer of microelectronics. Last year, the company added 67 products to the register of domestic products, including the first Russian Amur microcontroller (RISC-V).

In 2025, the ELINS Scientific and Technical Center launched mass production of microwave amplifiers— parts for devices used in physiotherapy. Previously, they were bought abroad, now they are produced in Zelenograd.

The computer equipment manufacturer RDW Technology (RDW Computers brand), a member of the Moscow Innovation Cluster, has launched two new conveyor lines. Among the products are Khibiny servers for cloud services and AI, monitors with up to 4K resolution, as well as Siberia data storage systems. With the support of the Moscow government, the developer has reached the international level, presenting his solutions at exhibitions in Uzbekistan and Belarus.

NTC BAKOR, a leading Russian developer of filters for the mining and chemical industries, launched the production of press filters and high-precision plates for them in 2025. Such equipment is used in the processing of ore and raw materials in order to remove water, separate solid particles from liquid and filter mixtures.

Sobyanin also mentioned the GalVent Ventilation Factory, which provides air purification systems to every fifth building in Moscow and the Moscow region. The company has its own production of ventilation products, which were previously purchased in China, the Czech Republic or Sweden.
