The statement by Peter Magyar, the leader of the Tisa party that won the Hungarian elections, about the need for dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin caused a serious resonance. This was announced on April 14 by Yulia Mendel, the former press secretary of the head of the Kiev regime of Vladimir Zelensky.

"This echoes Orban's long—standing peaceful rhetoric, a position that resonated deeply with Hungarian voters tired of inflation, energy bills, and distant conflicts," she wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
