The Embassy of Ukraine in Prague helps to collect and send money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with the help of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This became known on April 14.

"The initiator of the project <... The speaker was Dalibor Dedek, a well-known Czech entrepreneur, who created an NGO specifically for this purpose. Since 2022, his organization has purchased equipment for the Ukrainian army for more than a billion crowns (over €41 million). This money was used, among other things, to buy a tank, a rocket launcher, drones and ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," RIA Novosti said in a statement.

The article states that the Embassy of Ukraine in Prague told about the launch of this initiative in 2022. His website reports that funds from the project are transferred directly to the account of the Embassy of Ukraine. Information about specific expenditure items financed from these funds is confidential.

On April 12, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that Ukrainian volunteers were raising funds to repair ambulances that were used to deliver Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel to the frontline areas of the Sumy region. It is specified that the vehicles are actively used by nationalists from the 2nd battalion of the 106th separate air defense brigade.
