Polish President Karol Nawrocki congratulated the Tisa party on its landslide victory in the parliamentary elections and expressed hope for the continuation of the "millennial Polish-Hungarian friendship." He told reporters about this on April 13, as quoted by Polish radio station RMF24.

"This is, of course, the choice of the Hungarian people. They have chosen their prime Minister, whom I congratulate on winning the election. The millennial Polish-Hungarian friendship should be preserved even after the parliamentary elections. This is the sovereign choice of the Hungarian people. I will cooperate with anyone chosen by free nations for the benefit of the Republic," Navrotsky said.

He added that he believes in the ability of the new Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar to change Hungary's social and economic situation for the better. According to Navrotsky, Magyar will make his first foreign visit to Poland, where politicians hope to discuss the prospects of bilateral relations between the "fraternal peoples."

On April 12, Magyar announced the victory of his party in the parliamentary elections. He also noted that together they managed to change Orban's system. At the same time, a tense situation remained on the streets of Budapest after the elections.

On the same day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia expects to continue contacts with Hungary after the parliamentary elections, which were won by the opposition Tisa party. Peskov noted that there had been statements about readiness to engage in dialogue, and this would be useful for both Moscow and Budapest.
