Experts explained that during the winter, the insects gather in a group inside the hive, warm each other and feed on honey supplies. With warming above +10 degrees, insects fly out of the hives to cleanse the body and check the surrounding area. Insects are looking for water, which is necessary for the future life of the family, writes the Pskov news feed.

The number of bees will increase with each warmer day. They are already flying around the first flowers and preparing to collect nectar.

Earlier, biologists said that the insects had woken up in the Moscow region ahead of schedule. Initially, those individuals that wintered in the imago stage became more active. These may be some beetles, lemongrass, urticaria.
