Footage of the rescue of a mother and child after an avalanche in Dagestan has been published

In Dagestan, rescuers used a chainsaw to cut a passage through the rubble formed after an avalanche to rescue a woman and a child. Footage of the operation on April 13 is published by Izvestia.

The footage shows that without help, the victims could not get out on their own. First, rescuers freed the child from the rubble and snow, after which his mother was rescued.

The fact that an avalanche descended in the Tsuntinsky district of Dagestan on April 13 was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic. Later, a source from Izvestia reported on the rescue of the child and his mother. The injured were removed from under the snow and promptly handed over to the doctors. They are currently hospitalized.
