The body of journalist Vladimir Basov was found in the Vaga River in the Vologda region. This was reported by TASS on April 13, citing a source.

"The man's body was found and recovered from the Vaga River near the village of Abakumovskaya, Verkhovazhsky district. The reasons for his death are being clarified," the source said.

It is noted that Basov left home on the night of April 6, after which he stopped contacting. His tracks were found on April 10 near the flooded river Vaga. The day before, divers found his body and took it out of the water.

On April 10, a group of seven tourists disappeared in Kamchatka. According to the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Sergey Lebedev, the tourists quarreled and split up, after which the group of seven people stopped contacting. Rescuers examined the possible route of the group from different sides.

The government of the Kamchatka Territory announced on the same day that five of the seven missing tourists had been found alive, and two had died. Later, the helicopter with the injured tourists landed on the closed site of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The injured tourists are in a moderate condition.
