The traditional Days of Historical and Cultural Heritage will be held in the capital from April 18 to May 31. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this in his channel in the MAX messenger.

"This year, the campaign will be held for the 26th time and will be dedicated to the theme "Heritage around us." Residents and visitors of the city will be able to visit about 300 monuments of Moscow antiquity, including those closed in normal times and recently restored," the mayor said.

The program will open such facilities as the Egyptian Pavilion of the Ostankino Estate, the manor house in Khamovniki, where Leo Tolstoy lived, the Church of Peter and Paul on Novaya Basmannaya Street, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Veshnyaki, the building of the Svoboda Factory club on Vyatskaya Street and the club building of the Rubber factory on Plyushykha Street..

In total, about a thousand events are planned, including excursions, workshops and lectures. The program also includes walks along the route dedicated to the 90th anniversary of director Stanislav Govorukhin, as well as events of the project "Weekend with Heritage". Within its framework, participants will be able to visit cultural heritage sites and monuments of Moscow antiquity, where separate entertainment programs will be organized.

In addition, for the first time, children's restoration workshops will be opened as part of the campaign.
