More than 4 thousand people will attend the start of the first spring "Race of Heroes"

On April 18, the traditional steeplechase "Race of Heroes" will be held at the Alabino training ground near Moscow. The event will be the first spring launch of the League of Heroes in 2026.

"We always treat the April Race with warmth. This is a start that is equally loved by the organizers and participants, so we are preparing for it as for an exam – after all, it is also a kind of test of our team's readiness for a vibrant sports season. The Alabama "Race" tries to surprise us with something every time, and this time we have prepared several formats of sports activities for our participants at once. We are glad that 4,000 people decided to spend time with us at once. This shows that everyone's favorite obstacle race continues to be a very important type of outdoor activity for residents of the capital," said Ksenia Shoigu, head of the League of Heroes.

Participants will have to overcome an 8-kilometer track with 32 obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty for strength, agility and endurance. It includes traditional handgrips that require hand strength, fences, cargo transfer, moats, and obstacles made of water and mud. Also, to reach the finish line, you will need to crawl under the barbed wire, overcome the barrier of logs and crawl through the gap between the tires. And the culmination of the race will once again be the ascent of Mount Everest, an eight–meter slide with ropes with vertical ascent.

In addition, guests and participants of the event will be able to try themselves in arm wrestling – a master class in this sport will be conducted by the titled arm wrestler, Master of sports of Russia Vasily Sorokin, who will teach the basic techniques and techniques of hand wrestling. And another star guest, the legend of mixed martial arts Alexey Oleinik, will take part in the opening ceremony and will conduct a pre–start warm–up for the participants.

Anyone over the age of 18 can take part in the "Race" in one of two formats: individually in a mass start or as part of a team of 10 people accompanied by a professional instructor. Leading Russian companies, including Yandex, Rosatom, Rostelecom, Lukoil and others, traditionally participate in the team format. others.
