A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Despite the announcement of the Easter Truce, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) violated the ceasefire regime 6558 times. Russian military personnel repelled enemy attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Sumy regions, as well as in the DPR. In addition, 11 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an aircraft type were destroyed outside their own zone in the airspace of the Belgorod and Kursk regions.

With the end of the truce, the Russian Armed Forces continued to conduct a special military operation. The North group of troops defeated the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. The enemy lost up to 25 people, two vehicles and a radar station.

Military personnel of the Zapad group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of settlements of the Kharkiv region and the DPR. The Ukrainian formations lost over 35 soldiers, six armored combat vehicles and five vehicles.

The southern group of troops struck the formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a number of settlements of the DPR and destroyed more than 55 militants, four armored combat vehicles and nine vehicles.

Units of the Vostok group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized, assault brigades and two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. The enemy lost up to 90 men, two tanks, five armored fighting vehicles and seven vehicles.

The military personnel of the Dnepr group of forces defeated the manpower and equipment of the mechanized and mountain assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region. Up to 10 militants and ten vehicles were destroyed.

Tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation attacked ammunition depots, storage and launch sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 14 districts at night.

33 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 133,563 unmanned aerial vehicles, 656 anti-aircraft missile systems, 28,864 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,699 multiple rocket launchers, 34,408 field artillery and mortars, 59,257 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
