About 80% of the participants in the vote organized by the Public Chamber of Khakassia supported the installation of a monument to Joseph Stalin in Abakan. This was announced by the head of the republic Valentin Konovalov.
"The majority of residents who took part in public discussions supported the initiative launched by members of the All-Russian organization Children of War in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. 78.52% of those who voted supported the installation of the monument," Konovalov wrote on the MAX messenger.
