On April 10, VK Stadium hosted a large-scale audiovisual show "The first in space. Cosmo Night", organized by Roscosmos and DFM Radio (part of the Russian Media Group) as part of Space Week. The event gathered more than five thousand participants and for the first time combined the history of Russian cosmonautics and advanced stage technologies in a live concert format.

The audience was immersed in a great journey through the key stages of space exploration and the great discoveries of different times. Artik & Asti, Hannah, DJ Smash, Mary Gu, Filatov & Karas, Bearwolf, Bianca, HollyFlame and RASA appeared on stage, who revealed the theme of space through music and stage images.

A special place in the program was occupied by the topic of generational continuity and the involvement of young people in the space industry.

"For Roscosmos, Space Week is not only a series of events dedicated to the achievements of our country. One of the key tasks is to introduce the younger generation to cosmonautics, to show that this is a limitless field of application for the talents of young people and girls. We are interested in having ambitious young people come to us in a good way, get the opportunity to express and realize themselves. Today's event is not just a concert, together with our partners we tried to show the audience that space is not something abstract and distant, but a very real space. People live and work just 400 kilometers above the Earth, helping to move humanity forward on the road to other planets. And perhaps among those who attended the show today, there are those who will board a ship in a few years and become closer to the stars," said Dmitry Bakanov, Director General of Roscosmos.

Sergey Bunin, Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the Russian Media Group, noted that it is important to convey the opportunity to join the cosmonaut corps to those who are ready to create the future of cosmonautics.

"The first in space. Cosmo Night" is an example of how a large—scale musical event can combine entertainment and important meaning. Through the music, the modern format and the atmosphere of the concert, we wanted to make the theme of space closer to everyone. It was important for us not only to remind of the great achievements, but also to show the youth that this story is continuing right now. Therefore, we are not just talking about space, but we invite a new generation to take the first step towards the stars – to join Roscosmos' open recruitment of cosmonauts. Russian Russian Media Group, as an information partner, helps to bring this opportunity to all those who are ready to create the future of cosmonautics," said Sergey Bunin, Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of Russian Media Group.

As part of the program, viewers saw Konstantin Tsiolkovsky's drawings come to life on the screen, felt the strain of building Baikonur in 1955, chanted the famous "Let's go!" together before Yuri Gagarin's flight, heard Alexey Leonov's first words after going into outer space, experienced the historic Soyuz-Apollo handshake and witnessed the development of orbital stations.

"Tonight has a great concept! It seems to me that show business and space are two integral parts of the whole, because - and I believe in this – inspiration and energy are given from above so that people reveal their talents. I like everything unknown, it doesn't scare me – I'm sure you can also draw inspiration from it," Seville (Artik & Asti) said backstage.

Archival chronicles took the hall back to the events of the past, the broadcast from the International Space Station allowed us to see the life of the crew today, and vivid visual images helped us look into the future of the industry. Special attention was paid to modern achievements. The participants were told about the role of the Vostochny cosmodrome, the development of the Angara and Soyuz-5 new generation launch vehicles, as well as the creation of the Russian Orbital Station, one of the key projects in the coming years. The final act of "Let's Move on" reflected the chronology of events and completed the journey, emphasizing that the path to space exploration continues right now.

Each block of the program was accompanied by musical performances by artists. The audience heard both popular hits and compositions that accurately convey the mood of individual acts, from dramatic and emotional to vibrant and danceable.
