- Unique models of the future were shown at the Scientific Universe of the First festival
The All-Russian festival "Scientific Universe of the First" has begun in Perm, which brought together more than 2 thousand schoolchildren from all over the country. The participants demonstrate unique developments in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality and unmanned systems. The most talented will receive the main prize — working with leading engineers in Russia. This was announced by Izvestia correspondent Kirill Solodkov on April 13.
"This is not just a science festival, but a real testing ground. Artificial intelligence, robotics, technology, augmented reality, and even unmanned systems. And it's not experienced designers who are responsible for this, but ordinary schoolchildren," the correspondent said.
Among the projects presented are a plastic ball with a drone inside, "brains" for a smart home, and codes for robotic manipulators. The festival also launched a new educational project "Acceleration. Maximus" from the Innopraktika company.
The best participants will go to Moscow, where they will go through the entire process of creating smart cars. Their mentors will be the country's leading engineers, from the creators of industrial manipulators to androids.
"We will use all three directions so that children can try themselves both in the framework of design, 3D modeling, and electronics, that is, assembling ready-made printed modules, and programming these robots," explained Matvey Mironov, technical specialist and mentor of the project.
Anna Dunaeva, coordinator of the Razgon youth community, noted that participants learn how to form a team, delegate, work in a team and apply skills here and now to achieve victory.
The selection of applicants began right at the festival: they recorded video clips, talking about themselves and their dreams.
"Well, I usually collected things with my father, with my grandfather, he explained something to me all the time. I have a big plan — to create some kind of rocket of my own, and so that in the future it will be the best in the whole world," said candidate Mikhail Checherin.
Participants in the Razgon projects have already launched balloons into near space and assembled real satellites, as well as connected oil rigs into a single network. "Acceleration. Maximus will once again give a start in the profession to those who are not afraid to try and dream. There is still time to apply.
In September 2025, a festival of the Dispersal youth project was held in Moscow, which brought together winners from all over the country. The participants presented innovative ideas in the agricultural sector, art and space technologies. The Overclocking Agro project has introduced drones and high-precision devices into agriculture. The Overclocking Cosmos project brought together ninth graders developing satellites and smart grids for oil rigs. The Constellation project helped the participants to take a fresh look at historical decisions.
