In the Altai Territory, 142 residential buildings, 306 household plots, two sections of highways, and a low-water bridge were flooded as a result of floods. This was reported on April 13 in the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
"The work of three operational groups of the Main Directorate in the Talmensky, Khabar and Shelabolikhinsky districts, as well as operational groups of local fire and rescue garrisons, has been organized to monitor the current situation," the message says in the MAX messenger.
The publication clarified that since April 9, a group of rescuers has been providing assistance to residents who are in flooded areas. It is also emphasized that rescuers are working in the city of Kamen-na-Ob. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on April 12, in the town of Chumysh, near the settlement of Shipitsino, Talmensky district, specialists eliminated an ice jam with the help of blasting and a helicopter.
It is noted that in the flooded areas, the local administration has organized an alert and informing the population, and fluctuations in water levels continue to be recorded on the rivers.
On April 12, Vladimir Mazur, Governor of the Tomsk Region, announced that the number of residents evacuated in the region due to flooding had increased overnight to 73 people. He noted that 25 residential buildings and 185 household plots were flooded in the village of Chernaya Rechka. In the village of Takhtamyshevo, water entered eight vegetable gardens.
