The expert named five phrases that fraudsters most often resort to in 2026 in order to steal personal data or transfer funds. This was announced on April 13 by Artem Zhadeev, an expert in the field of information security at Stakhanovets, in an interview with Gazeta.Ru».

The expert called the first phrase "your account on Gosuslugi has been hacked, the code will come now, dictate it." He clarified that government officials never ask for confirmation codes. This phrase indicates that the fraudster is trying to gain access to personal data stored in the account.

The second phrase shared by the expert is "an attempt to apply for a loan has been recorded, transfer the money to a secure account." He clarified that the term "secure accounts" does not exist, it is required by fraudsters for the voluntary transfer of funds.

The third phrase, as noted by Zhadeev, was "have time to open an investment account today, income is guaranteed." The expert stressed that income on the stock exchange cannot be guaranteed, and accordingly, money can be transferred to a false platform of scammers.

"Banned organizations are funded from your account, I'm connecting you with the FSB for the investigation," was the fourth phrase highlighted by the specialist. As Zhadeev explained, FSB and Interior Ministry officers never discuss financial issues on the phone, and also do not switch to a conversation with another person.

According to the expert, the last sign of a conversation with a scammer is a message in the messenger "is that you in the photo?" with an attached link. Zhadeev explained that the link leads to a phishing site with malware installed, so you should not go to unknown sites and end the dialogue.

On April 12, the press service of the Moshelovka platform of the Popular Front reported that fraudsters, posing as employees and showing fake IDs, were going around apartments under the guise of checking for "gas leaks." It is clarified that the most common victims of such schemes are residents of apartment buildings, especially the elderly.
