The European Union (EU) should suspend the ban on the import of Russian liquefied natural gas. This was announced on April 12 by Claudio Descalzi, CEO of the Eni oil and gas company.
"I consider it necessary to suspend the ban, which will come into force on January 1, 2027, on the supply of 20 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia to Europe," he said in an interview with the newspaper Sole 24 Ore.
