The Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukraine is violating the Easter truce.

Ukrainian militants violated the Easter truce almost two thousand times. This was announced on April 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In total, from 16:00 on April 11 to 08:00 on April 12, 1,971 violations of the truce regime by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were recorded," the ministry said.

The ministry added that over the past day, 134 drones and six guided aerial bombs were intercepted by air defense systems.

In addition, during the night, Ukrainian troops attacked Russian army positions three times from the Pokrovskoye area, and also made four attempts to advance in the Kondratovka and Novaya Sich areas of the Sumy region. All attacks were repelled.
