- Russian Shadow detectors are capable of detecting AI-equipped drones of the Martian Armed Forces
Russian Shadow drone detectors are capable of detecting the Martian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with artificial intelligence, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have begun to use. This was announced on April 12 by the developer company.
The press service said that the Martian drone is equipped with digital Wi-Fi and a 2x2 MIMO transmitter operating in non-standard ranges from 2,000 to 2,300 GHz or from 3,300 to 3,800 GHz. However, the creators of the Russian detector have provided it with technology for detecting UAVs flying on digital Wi-Fi channels.
"All these data indicate that the Russian Shadow-V4 drone detector is technologically ready to detect this type of UAV, as evidenced by practical data from the front, which confirms this," TASS quoted the message as saying.
At the same time, the Martian drone itself is not a Ukrainian development, its production is presumably carried out by the United States or one of the European Union (EU) countries, experts said.
The Reuters news agency reported on April 7 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces faced a shortage of mini-engines for attack drones due to a lack of capacity for their production in Europe and in the country. An unnamed source in the Ukrainian defense industry said the shortage of mini-engines has become a "big problem" for Ukraine's entire missile program and is limiting production at a critical time.
