The priest denied the sacred meaning of Easter eggshells
The shells of Easter eggs, as well as crumbs from a cake, are not an independent shrine even after the consecration ceremony, so they can be thrown away, said on April 12, the head of the missionary department of the Pesochen diocese, Priest Vladislav Beregovoy.
"Crumbs from cakes and eggshells are not sacred, you can safely throw them in the trash later. The consecration of eggs does not make them sacred," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
