The expert named the most unfavorable period for discussing salary increases.
The most unsuccessful period for discussing a salary increase with the management is the summer. This was announced on April 12 by Tamara Grinenko, head of the Master's program "Strategy and Technologies of HR Management" at the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg.
"Summer is considered less successful. In June and August, business activity is declining, many managers are on vacation, and decisions are postponed. Autumn — September–October is an ambiguous period: on the one hand, businesses are returning to activity, on the other — companies are often already switching to budgeting and may postpone individual reviews until the end of the year," Grinenko said in an interview with TASS.
