Romanova's mother told about her daughter's inclination to escape to Mexico City via Discord

Kristina Romanova, a minor who disappeared in Mexico, was persuaded to escape through Discord. Her mother, Russian pianist Marina Romanova, told Izvestia about this on April 12.

According to Romanova, her daughter met an unknown guy through social media. He convinced the girl to run away from home, offering her freedom from "endless custody" and accusing her parents of excessive control.

"He told her that you need to get rid of the fact that you have custody, that your mom takes you to violin lessons, and so on," the missing woman's mother shared.
