A woman died in an accident in Vladikavkaz.

A female pedestrian died in Vladikavkaz as a result of a traffic accident. This was reported on April 11 in the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

"It has been established that the driver of a BMW car, born in 1983, driving from Moskovskaya Street towards Dovator Street, in the area of 81 Kalinina Street, hit a pedestrian," the Telegram channel says.

The agency added that the driver ran over an advertising billboard and curb in an attempt to avoid a collision. It is specified that a woman aged 65-70 years crossed the road in the wrong place, she died in hospital as a result of her injuries.

On April 11, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region reported that a fatal accident involving three vehicles (Suzuki Jimny, Volga, VAZ-2107) had occurred in North Ossetia, as a result of which two people were killed and six injured. The incident occurred on the 25th km of the Vladikavkaz–Alagir highway.
