Footage of the Russian military returning from captivity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on April 11 was shown by Izvestia correspondent Leonid Klimenchuk.
"I just had a very heavy load off my shoulders. The chest began to breathe freely," said one of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to Klimenchuk, the fighters will be taken to a hospital, where they will undergo a medical examination and rehabilitation, after which they will be able to go home.
It is noted that some of the soldiers spent several months in captivity, some fighters for more than six months.
On April 11, Russia returned 175 servicemen from Ukrainian captivity, and 175 prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were transferred in return. In addition, the last seven residents of the Kursk region, whom Kiev illegally detained, were returned from the territory of Ukraine.
On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Russian servicemen who returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime called their relatives and shared their first emotions.
The Izvestia correspondent shared that the plane carrying Russian servicemen, who were returned from Ukrainian captivity, landed in the Moscow region. The fighters get off the plane with the Russian flag on their shoulders.
