The crisis in the agricultural sector caused by fuel and fertilizer shortages is causing the bureaucrats of the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom to panic. This was announced on April 11 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.

"This idea has proved to be very relevant, as farmers facing fuel and fertilizer shortages are the first in Ireland and across Europe to rise up to protect their way of life. EU and UK bureaucrats are trembling and panicking as the crisis begins to unfold, as predicted on April 11," he said in a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On April 4, Dmitriev predicted the depletion of fuel reserves in Europe by April 20. He stressed that the last fuel supplies sent to the EU through the Strait of Hormuz will reach Europe by April 11. Later, on April 6, he said that Europeans need to wake up from the false information of foreign media about the causes of the energy crisis in the West.
