In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, two people were killed and another injured in a traffic accident. This was announced on April 11 in the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region.

The incident occurred on the 290th km of the Krasnoyarsk—Yeniseisk highway. It is specified that the 20-year-old driver of the VAZ 2107 car lost control, as a result of which his car left the road and crashed into a pole. There were four people in the cabin.

"As a result, two female passengers of the vehicle, born in 2006, were killed, and the driver was hospitalized," the ministry said in a statement on the MAX messenger.

The press service added that specialists are currently working on the site to establish the circumstances of the accident.
