Trump announced plans to build the Arc de Triomphe in Washington

On April 10, US President Donald Trump announced his intention to build the largest Arc de Triomphe in the world in Washington.

"My administration has presented <...> a project to create the largest and most beautiful Arc de Triomphe in the world," he wrote on Truth Social.

According to him, the project has already been sent for consideration to the Commission on Fine Arts. Trump noted that the new architectural object will be a significant addition to the appearance of Washington.
