Bashkiria's authorities spoke about the modernization of primary health care
The primary healthcare sector in Bashkiria continues to develop actively, and federal support allows for systematic changes in the infrastructure of rural medicine. The head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, wrote about this on his VKontakte page.
"Thanks to federal support, we continue to change the landscape of rural healthcare in the republic. We are building polyclinics, medical clinics, outpatient clinics, and purchasing new cars, modern machinery, and equipment. This is very important for improving the demographic situation and for the sustainable development of our rural areas. And we will definitely continue this kind of work," Khabirov said.
On his social network page, the politician spoke about the opening of a new children's polyclinic in the village of Askarovo in the Abzelilovsky district of the republic. This is a large rural area located 350 km from Ufa. According to Ilgiz Kildiyarov, the chief physician of the hospital, the medical facility is designed to receive 150 children per shift, Bashinform reports.
The republican Ministry of Health noted that in 2025 5.7 billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of a core regional project, of which 3.5 billion were subsidies from the federal budget. With these funds, six new medical institutions were built in Bashkiria and nine facilities were overhauled. 134 modular structures were also installed in Bashkiria and 99 vehicles were purchased for the needs of hospitals.
In addition, polyclinics are being built, modular medical centers are being installed in different districts and settlements. The authorities pay special attention to the retrofitting of perinatal centers. According to the republican Ministry of Health, almost 2.7 thousand units of medical equipment were purchased for them. As part of the Maternity and Childhood Protection program, 11 women's clinics opened at the end of last year on the basis of obstetrician-gynecologist offices. The agency plans to launch four more similar facilities using modular technologies.
In parallel with the federal programs, the Government of the republic allocates funds from the regional budget for the repair of medical organizations in Ufa. A large-scale renovation of the primary care is being carried out within the framework of the national project "Long and Active Life", which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2024. More than 450 billion rubles have been allocated for the new stage of healthcare modernization nationwide.
