More than 300 types of flowers will greet VDNKH visitors this year.

Dozens of varieties of primroses, including muscari and daffodils, were planted at VDNKh in autumn. Some have already bloomed in the Soul of Russia flower garden at the main entrance and in the flower beds along the Central Alley. This was told by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"This year, visitors to the country's main exhibition will be delighted with more than 300 species of annual and perennial flowers. According to tradition, snowdrops and scylla are the first to appear, and in summer the entire territory of VDNH is transformed thanks to roses, which occupy a special place in the landscaping of the complex," said Sergunina.

Primroses are gradually blooming at the southern entrance, in the park near the Moskvarium, near the exhibition and trade center of the Republic of Armenia (pavilion No. 68), at the Northern and Southern Rose Gardens, next to the fountain "Boy with Fish" and in the green areas along the ring road. About 39 thousand more bulbs were planted in the garden of the five senses.

In the Cultivated Nature landscape Park, guests can also see the "Big Picture of Fields." Due to the peculiarities of the composition and the abundance of colors, it is also called the "Kandinsky fields". Later than other primroses, terry tulips of various shades will bloom in Ostankino Park.

In late spring and early summer, over 36,000 rose bushes will bloom. These plants have become the hallmark of the exhibition since the first year of its opening. On the territory of VDNKH, you can see roses of different groups: tea-hybrid, groundcover, park, floribunda. This year, they plan to additionally plant Satchmo bushes, which decorated the exhibition 50 years ago.

The main "pink" locations are located in front of the arch of the main entrance, near pavilions No. 84 "House of Culture" and No. 510 "Glavvino", in the Northern and Southern Rose Gardens, next to the fountains "Golden Spike", "Friendship of Peoples", "Stone Flower".
