Gazprom Neft increased hydrocarbon production by the end of 2025
Gazprom Neft has published consolidated financial statements in accordance with international standards (IFRS) and operating results for 2025. According to the document, hydrocarbon production, taking into account the share in joint ventures, increased by 3% and amounted to a record 130.72 million tons of oil equivalent (oil equivalent).
The positive dynamics of production is ensured by the implementation of major projects in Yamal and Eastern Siberia, as well as efficient operation in mature fields. The company's refining volume increased by 2.2% compared to the previous year, reaching 43.93 million tons. To meet the needs of the domestic market, gasoline production was increased to 10 million tons in 2025.
"In 2025, the company was operating in difficult market conditions. These include the volatility of global oil prices, increased sanctions pressure, and decisions within the framework of the OPEC+ deal, to which we had to respond flexibly and promptly. By finding answers to these and other challenges, we have maintained high financial stability and continued to actively develop all areas of our business," commented Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Board.
He noted that by the end of 2025, the company had demonstrated record volumes of hydrocarbon production and processing, and had made a significant contribution to the stable and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to Russian consumers.
"At the same time, even taking into account the growth of production, the company has reduced the carbon intensity of its activities, which underlines our commitment to the principles of sustainable development," he added.
The company's revenue for the year amounted to 3,607 billion rubles, and adjusted EBITDA — 1,071 billion rubles. Net profit attributable to shareholders was recorded at 246 billion rubles. The financial performance was influenced by the strengthening of the ruble and the decline in world oil prices, while the debt burden remained at a comfortable level below 1.5x.
During the reporting period, the company expanded its own network of gas stations to 1,585 stations. The company's bitumen products were supplied for the construction of key federal highways, including the M-12 Vostok, TSKAD and M-11 Neva. In addition, in 2025, the production of domestic white oils for the needs of the medical, food and perfume industries was launched.
As part of the environmental program, the Biosphere treatment complex was brought to maximum capacity at the Omsk Refinery. Also, during the year, more than 2.5 million coniferous tree seedlings were planted in the regions of Siberia. The company has combined all environmental projects and initiatives into a single long-term program. The environmental goals were grouped into four areas — "Land", "Air", "Water" and "Living Environment" — and harmonized with Russia's national development goals in the field of environmental well-being.
