A special fire protection regime has been in effect in the Omsk Region since April 10. Fines for non-compliance with fire safety regulations have been increased.

According to OmskMedia news agency, it is forbidden to use an open fire in the region, including for cooking on bonfires and burning garbage. In addition, visits to forests are limited.

A special regime is already in effect in Omsk, Omsk, Azov, Maryanovsky, Kalachinsky and other southern and central regions. In the north, a special regime will come into effect on April 15.

For non-compliance with fire safety regulations, fines for individuals range from 10 thousand rubles.

In Buryatia, a special fire protection regime began to operate on April 1.
