As a result of cotton in a mine in the Rostov region, one person was killed and three others were injured. This was reported on April 10 in the press service of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"According to the investigation, on April 10, 2026, during work on loading the face of the mounting chamber in the mine located in the Krasnosulinsky district, a cotton occurred. As a result of the incident, one of the employees was killed, three are receiving medical care," the ministry said in a statement.
