Western sanctions against Russia make no sense and are dictated only by anger. This was announced on April 10 by the father of American entrepreneur, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, Errol, during his visit to Nizhny Novgorod.

"I think all the sanctions are absolute nonsense. And when I saw Moscow, I said that it was the best city on Earth. I realized that all the sanctions, all the bad things they tell us about Russia, are just anger," he said in an interview with the Vesti news agency.

The businessman also shared his impressions of the visit, noting that Russia is an amazing country.

"With amazing people who have a lot of plans and opportunities," said Errol Musk.

Earlier in the day, Errol Musk called Russian President Vladimir Putin a rational and confident leader. He added that the Russian leader is "a very rational person," and "it's quite obvious."
