54 thousand primary branches of the Movement of the First opened in Russia

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that more than 54,000 primary branches of the First Movement, which unites 14 million participants, have been opened across the country. He told about it on April 10 at the final meeting of the Board of Rosmolodezh in the Scientific and Cultural Center "Russia".

"This is the largest community of children and youth. More than 14 million participants. Over 54,000 primary branches have been opened across the country. A huge network that has started working very efficiently in such a short period of time. The guys have organized themselves and are building a modern children's movement, as they say, for themselves," Chernyshenko said.

The chairman of the board of the Movement of the First is the Hero of Russia Artur Orlov. The movement is developing in different directions. Over the past year, more than 350,000 children have been involved in the field of sports.

In tourism, 570 thousand participants went hiking and participated in All-Russian tourist gatherings. A separate school for "Cybersecurity of the first" has been opened, where children learn the skills of cyber volunteers through theoretical courses and practical exercises.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, special attention will be paid to supporting more than 157,000 children and adolescents who are in difficult situations. They must be under the constant supervision and support of the activists of the Movement of the First.

Chernyshenko noted that this is only a small part of the events that are being held, and the work needs to continue, expecting an even larger scale.
