Moscow Regional Blood Center to receive equipment for 40 million rubles

New equipment will be transferred to the Moscow Regional Blood Center in 2026, with the help of which blood collection, processing and storage will be of better quality. Among the purchased devices are a biochemical analyzer, a device for blood irradiation and a modern coagulometer.

Funds for the purchase of equipment were allocated within the framework of the national project "Long and active life" and by order of Governor Andrey Vorobyov.

According to Maxim Zabelin, Deputy head of the regional government and Minister of Health, quoted by the Podmoskovye Segodnya online publication, the Moscow Regional Blood Center is the main institution of the Moscow Region blood service. He is responsible for providing other institutions with donated blood and its components, which are necessary for transfusion.

This year, six units of medical equipment worth more than 40 million rubles were purchased for the Blood Center. Two devices have already started to be used in work.

At the end of March, it was reported that 62 ventilators had been transferred to medical institutions in the Moscow region since the beginning of 2026. About 290 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The technique is necessary to provide specialized medical care to people with respiratory disorders. Another 65 pieces of equipment are expected to be delivered by the end of this year.
