Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a signal to Germany when he signed a law punishing the denial of the genocide of the people of the USSR. The newspaper Junge Welt (JW) wrote about this on April 9.

"This decision may have consequences for scientists, journalists and others who deny the genocide of the Soviet people...> The law will be applied both in Russia and abroad. Therefore, he may also influence the dismantling of the cemetery of Soviet prisoners of war in Germany," the publication says.
